K\u00e4osaar has represented Bauhof Group AS in registering the trademark BAUHOF. The trademark BAUHOF was contested by our client\u2019s competitor on the basis of their earlier trademark BAUHAUS; they considered the trademarks BAUHOF and BAUHAUS confusingly similar. Our client won the dispute before the Industrial Property Board of Appeal and the consequent litigations.\u00a0 The courts formed the opinion that the trademarks compared were sufficiently different and the consumers were not likely to confuse them.<\/p>\n
