Chanel to go to court

Chanel has filed a trademark infringement lawsuit. This concerns 90 counterfeiters, who have been accused of confusing the consumer and gaining unfair profit. Filed at the US District Court, the claim accuses the counterfeiters of repeatedly selling, promoting and distributing goods bearing confusingly similar imitations of Chanel’s trademarks, such as handbags, clothes and phone cases.

Chanel is seeking to permanently discontinue actions damaging their goodwill and causing substantial financial damages.
